About Us
The Eastern Carolina Workforce Development Board, Inc. (ECWDB) is a regional non-profit organization serving Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Greene, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, Pamlico, and Wayne Counties. The ECWDB oversees a wide range of services for job seekers and employers in our region. These services are provided by our network of NCWorks Career Centers or by ECWDB staff.
Employers Services include:
-Employee Recruitment and Screening- Qualified staff can assist with job postings and provide applicant screening and referrals.
-Tax Credit and Hiring Incentive Information - Learn about programs that can help you with your hiring needs.
-Research Labor Trends and Industry Trends - Get access to the latest information about industries, training programs, and labor trends.
-Workshops, Seminars, and planning Job Fairs- Learn about opportunities to share company information with job seekers.
-Work Keys Assessments of Job Candidates - Applicants or current employees can prepare for the Work Keys assessments.
-Rapid Response Services - Contact us for a confidential consultation regarding layoffs or plant closings.
