Habitat for Humanity of Craven County NC
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that serves hard-working families and partners with them to build a home. Homeowners are selected on the basis of need, ability to repay a no-profit, no-interest mortgage, and the willingness to partner by participation in the building of their own home with 200-350 "sweat equity" hours. We offer a hand-up, not a hand-out.
ReStore is a resale business located at 930 Pollock Street. We receive donations of new and gently used furniture, appliances, household items, cabinets, fixtures, home improvement items and more for resale to the public at significantly discounted prices. Proceeds from ReStore support building new homes in the community and the operating costs of Habitat for Humanity of Craven County.
