    If you are looking for a great place to host a meeting, stop in and check out the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce meeting space.  WE have available seating for any type of meeting.  With 1,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, our meeting room can accommodate an event for up to 175 people. Located downtown near restaurants, or use our Chamber member restaurants/caterers. We have exclusive discounted rates for our Chamber Members and also offer attractive rates to the public.

  • Ribbon Cuttings / Ground Breaking Ceremonies

    Ribbon Cutting/Ground Breaking—One of the best ways to promote your business is getting customers to truly notice your business! At the Chamber, we offer our members ribbon cutting events, along with ground breaking ceremonies. If you choose to hold either event, you’ll receive the following:

    • Personal guidance from one of our expert Chamber staff members on how best to organize your event.

    • Free coverage on all the Chamber's social media sites, also we promote your event with all Chamber members, the Mayor, the County Commissioners and the City Alderman. 

    • Cost: Ribbon Cutting and/or Ground Breaking Ceremony - FREEif you would like a framed photo - $25.

    Ribbon Cuttings For Non Store Front Owners

    Ribbon Cutting/Ground Breaking—One of the best ways to promote your business is getting customers to truly notice your business! We now offer ribbon cutting opportunities hosted at the Chamber.  This is for the members that do not have brick and mortar store.  If you choose to participate, you’ll receive the following:

    • Personal guidance from one of our expert Chamber staff members on how best to organize your event.

    • Free coverage on all the Chamber's social media sites, also we promote your event with all Chamber members, the Mayor, the County Commissioners and the City Alderman. 

    • Cost: Ribbon Cutting and/or Ground Breaking Ceremony - $25, if you would like a framed photo - $25. 

    • One (1) six foot table to display information about your business.

    • Non alcholoci beverages and finger foods will be provided. Business owners are welcome to provide adult beverages or additonal snacks at (their expense).
