Nonprofit Council

New Bern Chamber Nonprofit Council

Many Missions, One Voice

The New Bern Chamber Nonprofit Council is a collaborative network of nonprofit leaders working together to improve the quality of life for citizens across our region, our state, and our nation.

The Council is not a political action committee, nor is it in competition with other organizations or collaboratives. Instead, it serves as a unifying force that fosters partnership, communication, advocacy, and shared success within the nonprofit sector.

Founded more than 25 years ago, the Chamber Nonprofit Council meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the Chamber and at locations throughout the community.

THE COUNCIL IS:

  • A network of like-minded professionals
  • A place of encouragement and support
  • A hub for sharing information, resources, and community events
  • A source for professional development and growth
  • A welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment
  • A regional center for advocacy and partnership
  • A place where nonprofits can thrive together

GIVINGTUESDAY

GIVINGTUESDAY is an initiative of the New Bern Chamber Nonprofit Council designed to inspire generosity, strengthen community connections, and raise awareness of the important work being done every day by nonprofits locally and around the world.

TIME • TALENT • TREASURES

New Bern Gives is an opportunity to recognize, celebrate, and support the nonprofit organizations that make a difference in our community.
